New site!

Hey everyone! I know, I know...it's been forever since I've last posted. I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me as I have a very good reason why. I have created my own website! All equipped with my very own web address!

Click to be directed to the brand spanking new site!

Once you have checked out the new site, don't forget to click follow on the top right side bar to receive updates!

I'm going to leave this site open until I'm absolutely positive it's not needed anymore.

Three Blind Mice

Happy Monday everyone!

So I finished this adorable set a couple nights ago...

Meet Harold, Milton & Bob... (Yes I have names them.)

This set is so adorable! I hope to completely finish the backing and list them in the shop.....that is if I don't keep them for myself! ;)

Mama said...

Mama said there'd be days like this....

or

Hey diddle diddle....

Take your pick!

Just listed this in the shop!

I love this font! It's so easy to stitch and have it legible at the same time! I'm not very fond of stitching text but I think I found one that works best for my stitchy hands. :)

Did I mention it's a magnet?!
:)

Read more details about it here.

Let's take it back...

Let's take it back to the good ol' days where one button was more than enough to kill those space invaders....

Video Games....you know of them, you might even have a special someone in your life that has an addiction to them. (I'm married to one...) In my opinion, you're not a true gamer if you don't know what this is....

Aah, the Atari 2600. The simplicity of one joystick and single red button. What happened to those days? I'll tell you...Technology took over! Everything got so complicated with the game controller. Now, you either have to point the controller to your TV and move around to controller your character or press 7 different buttons to shoot a ray gun. (I might be exaggerating a bit but you get the idea.)

This stitch is now up in the shop!

Shop Details and My Craft Space

Well hello again! Let me do a very quick recap from my last post.... I. Have. My. Very. Own. Etsy. Shop. Yay!!!!! I'm super excited about it! It's One 2 Stitch-a Roo ~Magnetic Hoop Art~ And as of right now, it's my baby. And I'm doing everything myself, Photographing the stitches, printing/cutting out labels/Thank You Cards/Stickers. With the support of my most awesome husband, he helped me write out item descriptions. I designed the banner on top of the shop's site. (I'm getting pretty savvy with Adobe Illustrator thank you very much.) :) Here are some pics....

Labels I've designed and printed out for the back of the hoops. They just need to be cut and
sticker-ized. <<< is that a word??? ...it is now!

...Thank you cards for the buyer...

...Stickers I made to include in each package for my promotional items... Oh and that big zebra "X" is a sticker maker. It's such a great little device. Just feed whatever you want "sticker-ized" up top pull it out through the bottom and BOOM! It's a Sticker!!! :)

So far it's been a fun adventure and I know it's only the beginning.

The shop isn't the only thing that I've been working on. I've been redecorating my workspace. It's not quite finished but here's what I have so far....

I plan to hang more stuff up top. It's kind of like my "inspirational - look what I can do" wall. My favorite part so far is that little silver frame. It contains a quote:

"In every job that must be done there is an element of fun."
-Mary Poppins

I'll exit the post with that.

Bathroom Humor.

I decided that my bathroom needs a little stitching in it's life and this is what I came up with.

It could be taken sarcastically or genuinely, you decide.
